Two encore interviews (no politics or disasters!) for Labor Day.
Part One: We speak with Michael Stanley, founder and CEO of TransitX Corp. a company that wants to revolutionize travel in the US with a privately funded shared mobility network with flying solar pods. We may meet George Jetson sooner than we think.
Part Two: Jennifer LeZotte talks about her book, From Goodwill to Grunge and her piece at The Conversation: How Subversive Artists Made Thrift Shopping Cool.
Jennifer LeZotte is a historian of gender and sexuality, capitalism , and dress and material culture in the late 19th and 20th century US. She’s also a professor at UNC Wilmington.
