Part One: David Dayen on his piece at the New Republic on how our broken judicial system led to a sexual harassment crisis.
Part Two: Sam Fulwood on his piece at Think Progress about a recent study and the reactions to it. The NAACP and the Clean Air Task Force collaborated on a study that found that millions of African Americans live in close proximity to oil or gas wells, or refineries, something that has had an impact on the health of those communities. The American Petroleum Institute has cast attempted to discredit the study, finding a scientist who has made the (blatantly racist) claim that inferior genes made these people more susceptible to the pollution.
