Part Two: Sharon Dunn has published two books of poetry. She joins us to talk about her new book, a memoir. Sharon grew up in Concord, NH (where we are based) on the grounds of the old NH State Hospital, which used to be called the NH Asylum for the Insane. Sharon’s mother was a psychiatrist and her father was a WWII vet. Sharon set out to investigate her family dysfunction, and has written a gem of a book, interwoven with photos and poems. The book is called, “Under a Dark Eye.”
