Great, great night of music this week. First off, Delanie Pickering, a high school student and first-time GSM performer, just KILLED IT! Amazing young talent, just over a year playing guitar, but seemingly born wth it. Can’t wait to see her play more in years to come. Check out her “live” GSM in-studio rendition of Tom Wait’s “The Heart of Saturday Night.” at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10202908980587478. Then we welcomed back “Poor Howard” Stith and Mike “Bullfrog” Rogers, who took us down to the Delta with a harmonica and National steel guitar. Felt train yard dusty afterward…Incredible. Then we finished the night off with Jasmine Mann, a mom, a worker, a singer/songwriter with a smooth, soft voice and songs about Texas Sunsets.
