GSM returned after a week-off since Rob A. was still recovering last week from hermoroid surgery. Leading off the night, we welcomed Rob Kleiner, good friend to the Concord music scene and creator of Yourband.info…ohh, and, esteemed leader of the Captain Chet Lawson Snake Oil Review (and, by Gad, the man plays – who knew?). We then switched from live music to the oral tradition of joke telling while standing up. Our latest comedic trial horse, Joe Mitchell, a young, newish practioner of this ancient art, hails from Londonderry, NH. Joe was actually pretty funny, so check him out. And, then finally, we closed out the night with “Beechwood,” a great string band from Henniker, who we’d never had the pleasure to hear before (until now).
