As we approached Thursday, the 5th of June 2014, things heated up, evolving into a great and different week of music on the GSM Music Series….First up, the Manchester Community Music School Adult String Ensemble, a 7-piece, classical string group (a first in Studio A), performed a great “Mozart-sounding” piece by Luiggi Bocherini.” Nice!….Next up came the COLE ROBBIE BAND, first timers on GSM, and they gave us some 60’s reggae classics we hadn’t heard in decades. Nice job!……then, during second half of the hour, we welcomed back LAID TO DUST, who once again brought the heat with their tight vocal harmonies and crisp folk-bluegrassy sound.
