This week, we threw discretion to the wind and recorded three musical acts (and interviews) back-to-back for the whole hour. Poor Howard Stith from Dover, NH, and his harmonica-playing partner, Mike “Bullfrog” Rogers from “cross the rivah” in South Berwick, ME. Po’ Howard and Mike treated us to three sublime country blues with Howard picking a handsome, handmade 12-string. We then had the great pleasure of welcoming Chris Peters and his wife, Kate, whose three songs showcased their fine ear for vocal harmonies. Finally, the night was capped off correctly with Pat & the Hats, a great sometimes power trio and a great quartet (with or without keyboards). Tonight, we hosted the guitar quartet, and had one fine time.
