This date marks the tenth show of Sounds Like Minded. What a great experience it has been playing this great music for you all. Lots of classics in this one. The show kicks off with a funky version of “Gangster Of Love,” by Jimmy Norman and moves on to “Your Love Is Like A Cancer,” by Son Seals, born in Arkansas, burned down Chicago with some fiery guitar. There’s also tunes from Funkadelic, Charlie Hunter’s Pound for Pound live, Leon Parker’s “Ray of Light,” Jimmy Smith, James Cotton, The Meters, and the show closes out with a beautiful song called “Lullaby,” by the World Saxophone Quartet with African Drums.
