Part 1: Garry Rayno, reporter for IN-DepthNH (indepthnh.org), and Rick Newman, formerly a member of NH Legislature.
We discuss the changing political landscape, and with the advent of new candidates for governor in NH. Corey Lewandowsky, has sent out letters to potential donors. The opinion is that he is planning a run for governor of NH. The current governor is likely planning a Senate run. Lewandowsky has told a congressional committee that he feels no obligation to tell them the truth, proving his loyalty to Trump principles. The Trump cult continues.
Part 2: Miles Rapoport, former Secretary of State of Connecticut, discusses with us hollowing out of the GOP. Norms are broken, misinformation is being spread, US democracy is under attack. However, one bright note is that judges have turned down Trump, as have voters. This has been enabled by the use of absentee voting, which in turn was enabled by the pandemic. It is not clear that more access to voting opportunities will continue. States may repeal these relaxed rules.
It is important for Biden to take credit for the advances that are made to improve the lives of Americans, American infrastructure, etc.
