Part One: Our weekly update from the Lone Star State with Scott Braddock, editor of the Quorum Report. Topics include: Beto O’Rourke, fundraising, Ted Cruz, Texas Democrats, Lupe Valdez, abortion rights, mandated sick time, and more.
Part Two: We speak with NH resident Nancy Gerzon about her recent trip to Germany for treatment for Lyme Disease. Nancy has had Lyme since the 80’s. She knows that now – but the road to diagnosis was long. She’s been her own doctor, researcher, and advocate for decades. Nancy tells her story, how that led to Germany, and then describes the treatment that shows great promise for those suffering with Lyme Disease. The treatment is not available in the US, where little is being done to develop a cure. This is a story of moral outrage and hope.
