Populist themes have been lost, and the Democratic party has turned ineffective. The only hope is to encourage people to vote, and increase voter registration. There was discussion about the misdeeds of the Border Patrol Service, who, in addition to mistreating migrants, have recently arrested and detained for 23 days a young man who is an American citizen, and who was born in Texas. His case stands out, but there are likely many others. The Democrats appear to have forgotten the issues that really move voters: the environment, the future of work in America, and the corruption in the current government.
