Part 1
Our guest is Paul Peter Jessup, who is an attorney in New York, who was a long-time Republican, and was working with Bill Weld, who was running against Trump. Jessup is now unaffiliated, and plans to vote Democratic in 2020. The discussion centered around the changes that have happened to the Republican party, and how its basic beliefs have been changed by the advent of Trump. In Jessup’s opinion, the Republican part is dead. His view is that this is the result of the voters themselves, not just the Party leaders.
Part 2
Our guest is Nolan Higden, who has co-written a book regarding the lack of knowledge regarding media practices, and how media is perceived and used. The discussion ranged around the misunderstandings that ensue.
