Part Two: Our guest is Alex Sammon, reporter at The American Prospect
“Everybody Hates the SBA  How did one of the most addled government agencies end up as our last line of pandemic defense?”
We discuss the history of the SBA, and the intent of why it was established. The current use of the SBA during the pandemic has been perverted by large corporations who have benefited by the monies distributed by the SBA, freezing out the true intended beneficieries of teh CARES Act, small businesses. This has been accomplished by how franchises have been treated.

We also discuss Stacy Abrams’ campaign for Vice President, and how it came about. This is an unusual development, since no one has ever run a campaign for Vice President. before. That office has been assumed to default to whoever was chosen by the presidential nominee. This is a departure in American politics.
