Part One: Life after prison. We speak with Dr. Stanley Andrisse. He’s the Executive Director of the From Prison Cells to PhD program, which helps people who have criminal convictions obtain a college education. Education is the best defense against recidivism. It’s better for everyone – our communities, our workforce, and ultimately the whole country.
Dr. Andrisse is also a medical professor, at Howard University, and an adjunct at Johns Hopkins.
